        Travelers should bring comfortable hiking boots, lightweight clothing for warm weather, a waterproof jacket, a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, a camera, personal toiletries, a refillable water bottle, and a small backpack for trekking. Don't forget your passport, travel insurance, and any necessary medications. For gorilla and chimpanzee trekking, gloves and sturdy shoes are essential.
